Birth Tub Rentals
Sunflowers rents AquaDoula® tubs, the original heated birthing pool. With built-in heaters, birthing people can stay in the tub longer without refilling the tub, saving water and giving attendants time to support labor in other ways. The use of hydrotherapy during labor has been shown to improve the quality and experience of childbirth for most birthing people. They report greater feelings of control, comfort, and safety, along with increased mobility, labor efficiency, and lower rates of interventions. Deep immersion in body temperature water is nature's analgesic, reducing blood pressure and pain, promoting relaxation, conserving energy for the laboring person, and creating a gentler entry for the baby.
The AquaDoula® birthing tub features built-in heaters, a spacious interior that accommodates the birthing person and a helper, and its light color enhances provider visibility. The tub is easy to assemble by one person in minutes and takes only 30 minutes to fill. The thermal cover prevents heat loss, and the vinyl liner is easy to clean. Finally, the portable tub is easy to transport!
The AquaDoula® birthing tub comes with all supplies needed for use except a hose (purchase at your local hardware store for less than $20). Tub rentals are $325 for 5 weeks (usually 37-42 weeks). Pick ups & returns are from our location in Alexandria, VA. Depending on location, tubs may be delivered for an additional fee. A rental contract and non-refundable 50% deposit are required. OBi TENS Unit Rentals and Purchases
A non-invasive and easy to use labor comfort tool, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Units have been used across the world to provide gentle, safe, and consistent pain relief to laboring people. Purchase an Obi TENS unit for $125 or rent one for $60 for a 6-week rental with a $100 deposit. Rentals are $45 for our HelloBirth® Hypnobirthing students and are included for our birth doula clients. Rental includes a brief instruction on proper use.

Hypnotherapy for Prenatal and Childbirth Concerns
Hypnosis is a normal state of mind that can be incredibly relaxing, peaceful, and effective for creating change in your life. Childbirth Consulting
Do you need assistance finding the right caregiver for you? Need someone to go with you on hospital tours? Help crafting an effective birth plan that really articulates your needs? Perhaps an hour or two of childbirth consulting can help you address your unique pregnancy and birthing concerns. Our consulting fee is $100/hr.

Logistics and Prerequisites
This one-hour workshop will be held online on Tuesday, October 15th at 6pm. Bring your Obi TENS unit or purchase one from Sunflowers Healing and Wellness for $125 each and get training included. Units must be ordered by October 1st for this workshop.
Non-refundable registration is $45. Registration fee can be applied to Obi TENS purchase price. Replay available for doulas who miss the live presentation. Certificate provided within 48 hours for students who attend the workshop or for students who demonstrate they have watched the replay.
